Happy Birthday Aunt Noy!

We want to wish Aunt Noy a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Unfortunately she is having to spend it in a hospital room due to a serious infection. She has been there since Wednesday, so HOPEFULLY if she doesn't run fever again or have any more pain she will be discharged tomorrow. Nana is down there with her so that's a good thing. So we just wanted to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY from her three favorite guys! We love you!!

Strawberry pickin'

Today we went strawberry pickin' with Kay Kay and Pops, Toto, Luke, Laney, Our friends Emily, JoJo, Jackson, and Jordan. Camden had been before so he showed us all how to do it. Everyone had a great time...except for the fact that it was extremely HOT 90+ degrees in the blazin' sun. We all filled our baskets, ate a few along the way (we had the stains on our shirts to prove it), and enjoyed a summer time outing with our family and friends. Our group came away with 10 baskets full...YUMMY!!!!

Camp-In

The boys wanted to sleep downstairs last night, so mom had a great idea...let's get the tent out. Not so great since I had never put it together before. It only took me about 30 minutes to kinda of get it up enough so they could sleep in it. It wasn't pretty though, but they loved it. Summer is officially under way.

He lost another one!

Sullivan is on a roll. He lost his second tooth today...May 25th. We were at our Pops and Kay Kay's house having lunch after church and like I said before it has been hanging on. He kept wiggling it, and finally out it came. He is breaking the bank this week.

He finally loses it!

Sullivan FINALLY lost his first tooth. It has been hanging on for a while which makes my skin crawl. He lost it yesterday May 23rd while he was at the movies with a friend, lucky me. He's not toothless though because his two front permanent teeth have been in for quite awhile. We told him he was like a shark with two rolls of teeth. He told me to pay big since he doesn't believe in the tooth fairy. Crazy kid! I was told by Redding and his friend that the going rate is a $1 for each year you are...Sullivan made $6 off of me....I'm a sucker, I know.

Camden's first year of Preschool

Camden finished his first year of preschool with a popsicle party. He went three days a week. He was use to going there when his brothers attended, so it was an easy transition. He liked his teacher Mrs. Sandi and made lots of new friends. They had lots of fun things to do throughout the year from Fall festival, TAN Circus, Music and Art show...I can't believe my baby has finished his first year of preschool...where does the time go????

Third Grade Year End Sock Hop

The entire third grade class has an end of the year sock hop, which is so fun. Everyone dresses up including the parents. I told Redding his shaggy hair would be perfect! They enjoy coke floats, popcorn, bubble blowing & hula hoop contests, and 50's music by Elvis. It was a good ending to a wonderful four years at Oak Mountain Elementary for Redding. They change schools for fourth and fifth grade (Intermediate school). He had a great year academically. He had the best group of kids in his class, I couldn't have hand picked them any better. His teacher Mrs. Flynn was the hardest but the BEST third grade teacher. We just loved her, I just wish we could take her to fourth grade.

Sullivan's Kindergarten Beach Bash

Sullivan had an absolutely wonderful year in kindergarten! He loved his teacher Mrs. Wheelis. Redding had had her so he was pumped about having her also. He made lots of new friends...has an adorable girlfriend Halle :)! Sullivan said she's what/who he'll miss the most about summer break. He has grown so much academically. He's a great reader, loved math, P.E., music, computer, art, snack time, recess ( he liked to race everyone....remember he is soooo competitive). But he LOVED centers the best each day. He would get upset if I checked him out early and he would miss center time. We couldn't be more please with the start of his academic career, because we have a lot of years ahead of us.

Mom's Day

Wanted to post a few pictures of my oh so cute boys....they were the best part of my Mother's Day.
We were able to have a nice lunch at our Pops and Kay Kay's house (Brian's parents), and enjoy being with them along with Grandmother who is 96 (Brian's g-mother) and 'the cousins' Luke and Laney and Toto and Deaner. It was a beautiful May day in Alabama! Happy Belated moms day to all you...I love you all!

6 year old baseball...we cover the entire baseball park.
Sullivan what can I say about this kid? He is one in a million...a natural born superstar if I can brag for a moment. He did awesome and is definitely ahead of his time. We can give some of the credit to his big brother Redding for always including him and helping teach him, but most of it comes down to Sullivan's self determination of not allowing anyone to tell him he 'can't do something' or that he's 'too little' or 'too young'. He WILL prove you wrong. He is soooo competitive. I have no idea where he gets it from! Anyway, Sullivan's team was undefeated until we got to the first round of tournament and our teams hitting just wasn't there, so we were picked off early. Needless to say I was so disappointed, but mainly shocked. I think everyone else in the league was too. They all assumed we would take the championship hands down, but that didn't happen. Sullivan did great though, his fielding is great along with his ability to throw a bullet and be dead on his target. He got a in the park homer too during the tourney game. (bases were loaded so that was nice). We are officially finished for the summer, what will we do with all our time?

Another baseball season...

9 year old baseball,
Redding played his first season of kid pitch baseball. His team the Reds didn't do so well, but personally Redding did extremely well as always. He was able to pitch a few times, and did very well, not a lot of 'heat' but can sure throw those strikes! He played shortstop, and didn't let much get past him. For a little guy he's quite the the athlete. We opted out of All-Stars this year...we are in desperate need of some rest and relaxation! We are very proud of Redding and all his hard work and discipline.
